Position Overview

Azahar Mexican Kitchen is looking for friendly, welcoming, and organized hosts to join our opening team. Hosts create the first and last impression of the restaurant experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests as they arrive
  • Manage waitlists and seating arrangements
  • Escort guests to their tables
  • Assist with chips and salsa service
  • Inspect tables for cleanliness and presentation
  • Provide menus and introduce guests to servers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
  • Thank guests and invite them to return

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and hygiene habits

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds
